About this project

National Triglav park is one of the most protected places in Slovenia and it is really hard to find a house in such a special location.

Interior of the house was in quite bad condition and the layout not working specially because the room were weirdly connected. But we still managed to work our magic and create an open and much more functional spaces trough out the entire house.

Downstairs we have made one big opened space kitchen, dining and living room with beautiful triple sided fireplace. Upstairs we created two bedrooms and added one more bathroom.

In this project we have played around with a few interesting materials such as terracotta tiles that were laid in fishbone design trough out the entire ground floor and also in the ground floor bathroom. With kitchen design we tried to add a bit more rustic design but we still managed to keep it modern and sophisticated. Hose is full of character and special corners with beautiful furniture and artwork.
